Welcome to the launch of The Green Spork!
This new venture has me glowing all over. After being forced to close my old site, Vegucated Kitchen, I took some time to decide on what direction I wanted to go in.
I decided that the hiccup of having to abandon Vegucated Kitchen was not an tragedy, but instead an opportunity to broaden my scope of the site as well as hone my skills.
The Green Spork is intended to be a modern hippie venture. I will still feature whole food plant-based recipes to tantalize tastebuds, but with even more experience and knowledge since I am now certified in Plant Based Nutrition through Cornell University. Additionally now I include how to live a more sustainable life. From organic gardening, minimalist living, and creative DIYs wellness is more than whats just at the end of your spork.
Green living is simply beautiful. It teaches you to savor every bite, slow down and smell the roses, and step off the treadmill of endless coveting. I knew I had more to share than just delicious healthy food, and so the whole life approach of The Green Spork was born.
