Watch Forks Over Knives and call me in the morning

November 12, 2014 By Staci

Forks over knive

If I could offer one bit of advice for every person on the planet it would be:

"Watch Forks Over Knives"

Oh how simple it sounds, but the impact of this lil ole documentary is palpable.

Never before has there been a better one stop shop for learning about the human body, the obesity and disease epidemic, how and why we eat, and how to take control of your own health.

Perhaps the most eye opening lesson from this documentary is the science. Conveniently broken down into understandable bites for even the non-scientist to chew on levitra generico india. And what powerful science  and research it is!

You will learn how the number one health issues plaguing the developed world are diet related conditions. You will learn that by taking control of what you put in your mouth, you can experience the best health of your life. You will also learn why you haven't heard about the power of food and its role in illness and health until now.

This film literally changed my life. I finally took an active role in my health. I made lifelong changes to my diet. I saw (and continue to see) my healthiest body ever emerge before my eyes. I learned how to cook in a way that tastes great, feels great and promotes wellness while fighting disease. I received my Certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University. I was inspired to share this life changing discovery with as many people as I could reach, and so The Green Spork was born. Now I wake up each day thankful for all that I have learned, and the healthy body that I feel committed to disease proof with diet and lifestyle. In a nutshell, this all came about by watching a simple movie.

That is why I challenge you to watch it right now. Watch it today.

You can stream it through Netflix, buy the DVD or rent or buy it through Amazon. If you live near Austin, contact me and I will personally loan you one of my copies. Whatever you have to do, see it. Watch it with your family and friends. Pass the word on. I promise it will change how you understand food and health, and it will lead you to a healthier rest of your life.

Knowledge is power, and Forks Over Knives does such an awesome job of combining what you need to know in one place, that I do not even attempt to reinvent the wheel here. I could lecture all day long and still not sum up everything as eloquently as this film does, so just do yourself a huge favor and have a movie night.

Once you watch it, reach out to me. That's why I'm here. Once people understand the power and importance of a plant based diet their next thought is often "Oh crap. So what do I eat now?" And that is what The Green Spork is all about. Helping folks learn what to eat, how to cook it and how enjoyable it is to live a plant-based life is what The Green Spork is here to do.

Just like the old doctor's saying "Take two aspirin and call me in the morning." I say:

"Watch Forks Over Knives and call me in the morning"

Press play, like I did almost 3 years ago, and literally change your life.
